How can I make sure that the flag light will fit my pole?
With the exception of the Dot Solar Light, all our flag lights fit most 5-6 ft spinning wall-mount aluminum flag poles with a ball ornament on top. Your flag pole’s ball ornament must have a minimum length of 1.75 in and the width of the opening should be 0.5 in for it to fit our flag lights.
Deneve’s Dot Solar Light fits 6-foot house-mounted flag poles with 1"-9NC threading (1-inch wide diameter and 9 threads per inch) for the top ornament.
Do you sell flagpoles?
At the current moment, we do not sell flagpoles. You may need to look for a suitable pole online or in offline stores. Annin, Grace Alley, and American Signature all sell compatible poles.
Are your lights covered by a warranty?
Yes, we offer a one-year warranty for all our lights. To claim your warranty, you will need to provide proof of purchase, such as an order ID or an invoice. Deneve’s warranty covers only products sold by Deneve on Amazon or through our website at denevehome.com.
Are the batteries replaceable? What kind of batteries do I need?
Like all batteries, Deneve’s rechargeable batteries will need to be replaced over time.
Deneve’s Solar Daisy Light runs on two 18650 3.7V Lithium 2500mA batteries (included in the package). You will need to remove the 6 screws on the back cover to remove the batteries, swap the old batteries for new ones, and then fully charge the light before its first use with the new batteries.
Deneve’s Spiral Light runs on one 18650 3.7V Lithium 2500mA battery (with the flat top, included in the package). To replace the battery, you will need to remove the 6 screws on the back cover, switch out the batteries, and then fully charge the light before its first use with the new battery.
Other lights use 3 AA rechargeable Ni-MH batteries (included in the package). You will need to open the compartments on the back, replace the batteries, and fully charge the light before its first use with the new batteries.
My light doesn’t work. How can I fix this?
Please make sure that your light is fully charged and switched on. After your light has been in the sun for at least 24 hours, you can test it this way:
The lights will only come on when there is no light shining on the solar panels.
If the light is not functioning after running this test, please contact our support team.
My light has stopped working. Can this be fixed?

Why does my Widebody Light first illuminate brightly and then decrease its brightness?
Deneve’s Widebody Flag Light works in a sequence to last longer. When the light is triggered by the ambient light sensor, it starts the following light sequence:
If you would like to test that the light works properly before you install it on your flag pole, please let the light go through the sequence above for at least 2 hours in order to make sure that the light functions properly.
The solar panels on my light have become cloudy. Is this permanent?
The white film is the clear polycarbonate layer drying out over time due to sun exposure. You can use the following products to restore the surface:
You can get the wood polish in an aerosol can just like spray paint. Apply a coat, let it dry, and the solar cells will come back to life. There is usually no need to physically polish the panels since they just need very mild rehydration and the polish will act as a protective layer from the elements.
Can I remove the film from the panels?
Yes, feel free to remove the clear plastic film on top of the solar panels. The film only serves to ensure you receive a brand-new flag light in as perfect condition as possible.
